Busy from the word go on Friday afternoon all the way till 23:00 last night, it was one of the crazier weekends and also a sign of a great summer to come.

Started off with some after work Alphabetical with Bobbles, Fae and Liesel at &Union which was packed to the brim. I think the whole of the Cape Town was there or at least, close to the whole of Cape Town. Saturday was a full sea day starting off with NSRI training for 3 hours in the morning on a beautiful flat ocean. I quickly ran off to the Water Club afterward to go for a sail on Maverick. It truly was a perfect day to be on the water as you can see on the pictures below. Thinking I was going to head home to relax and plan my night, I got a message saying ‘wine‘ to which I replied, ‘see you in 25 minutes’ to Anna. Laughter, cats and finally trying out Monks Chinese, it was great as always.

Sunday with a great red wine head, I joined Candice and Sammy-Jane to climb Lions Head at the crack of dawn. Thankfully we did it early as the temperature was rising as we climbed.  Next stop was a braai and a few hours later heading to supper for Rosh Hashana: our Jewish New Year.
